Privacy policy

This notice describes how the Auto Planet catalogue and its interactive system demonstration handle information. You can browse without creating an account or submitting personal details.

Saved on your device

The site stores one colour theme preference across all pages, and the catalogue stores your enquiry shortlist in your browser’s local storage so they survive a reload. These preferences are not automatically sent to Auto Planet. You can remove them by clearing this website’s saved site data in your browser. Blocking storage does not prevent browsing or building a shortlist during your visit.

When you contact the shop

Sending an enquiry opens WhatsApp with a draft containing the products you selected. You can review and edit it before sending. Opening the link does not send a message automatically. Auto Planet receives the contact details, message and attachments you choose to share through WhatsApp, email or another contact channel and uses them to respond to your enquiry.

Audio demonstrations

The system demonstration generates audio in your browser after you press play. It does not request microphone access or record you.

If you choose to carry a listening preference into the system planner, the site keeps only that preference and its save time in this tab for up to 12 hours. You can remove the note in the planner. If browser storage is unavailable, the preference travels in a temporary URL fragment, which is removed when the planner opens. It is not automatically sent to the workshop and does not change the planner’s recommendations.

Website delivery and external services

Fonts and catalogue images are served with this website. This version of the catalogue does not include advertising scripts, analytics trackers or account registration. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as an IP address, requested page and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.

Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and manufacturers take you to external services. Their privacy policies apply when you use those services. The listening test and system planner explain their own saved preferences within those tools.

Questions and requests

Contact the shop about information you have shared, including requests to access, correct or delete it. Please include enough detail for us to identify the enquiry.
